Wireless Networking:
Keep in mind that there is still a re-association issue with airport roaming. While its nearly transparent on startup, there is no provisions for performance selection due to changes in the local RF "weather" conditions. In fact once a client has associated with a given access point, it will hang on to it until it no longer has enough signal to maintain that association at which point it finally drops. The result is that you will have conditions of marginal performance as you move away from the original access point you associated with. With most clients this results in a DHCP renew which can be several seconds of no network. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=732979&tstart=90 | 07.30.2007
